This Week in Room 3

Hi families!

We had another fun and busy week full of learning and laughter!

In math, we explored time, specifically discussing how to read the hour hand on the analog clock. We also did addition questions with hands-on activities and games.

During literacy time, students began working on their Memory Books, reflecting on their favourite moments from the year. They also wrote beautiful pieces on Why We Love Earth—so many thoughtful and creative ideas! We even squeezed in some hilarious Mad Libs, which were a great way to practice reading, spelling, and parts of speech while having a good laugh.

In gym, we played cooperative tag games that got everyone moving and working together as a team.

A big highlight of the week was our grocery store trip! The students picked out ingredients, then helped make delicious fruit smoothies back in the classroom. They had a blast and loved tasting their creations.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Miss Karly
