If you would like your child to have their picture retakes done, please send me an email so I can ensure they have their photo taken on Monday.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:

Next Thursday evening and Friday we will be having Parent Teacher Conferences. This is an opportunity to sit down and discuss your child's social, emotional and academic progress at school. I look forward to connecting with each of you to discuss your amazing kids! Booking a Conference Time can be done through your MyCBE account and opens today, Friday November 22.

This Week We:

Went Swimming!! Swimming was a highlight for all of our friends in Room 3. We had so much fun in the pool, being brave and trying new things. We read the book Jabari Jumps and it is a story about a boy who is feeling nervous and scared to jump off the diving board. When he finally works up the courage to try it, he finds it was so much fun and wants to do it again and again.

We began our All About Me projects and looked at our Special Name. We did some name art, and researched what our special name means. This was super fun to learn about. We also read the book The Best Part of Me and wrote about the best part of ourselves. 

On Thursday, we made fruit salad. The students washed, cut, stirred and served the fruit! It was a lot of fun and most of the students really enjoyed it and had more than one helping! ;)

We also continued learning about Patterns in Math. Next week we will look at number patterns, such as skip counting by 2's, 5's and 10's.
