•         - Cooking in the Classroom (Waffles for Breakfast)
• December 21 - January 5: Winter Break

Parent Teacher Conferences:

I want to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to connect with me regarding your child's learning. You are their first teachers and know them the best so it is great to hear from you and have your support in their success and learning at school.

This Week We:

Worked on our All About Me Projects. The students enjoyed making a life size portrait of themselves and had fun taking a closer look at all of their special details that make them unique. We played a "guess who" game using the baby pictures you sent in. The students loved guessing which baby was which student. We talked about how each student has changed and how they have stayed the same. We also learned why we were given our special names. 

The students wrote about what their favourite parts of themselves were and also looked at words that described their identity. 

In Math we looked at counting by 2's and 5's and discussed the patterns that we see in those numbers.

In Music we began learning the music pieces we will be performing at the Winter Performance on Dec 12.

It was a fun day of learning and playing in Room 3! We cannot believe that next week it is already December and that Winter Solstice and Christmas are approaching so quickly.
