This week in Room 3:

Literacy - This week we shared about our weekend and wrote our weekend reports. We did a good job sharing about our weekend and listening to the details that our peers were sharing. We also began exploring our independent word work centres. We also continued to explore our feelings. This week, we discussed the emotion Happiness. We talked about how all feelings are important, positive and negative.

We read the Poem, "Costumes" and practiced identifying syllables and nouns.

Math - This week in Math we began working on Sorting and Patterns. 

Science - This week we carved our pumpkins into Jack-o-Lanterns and did a Science experiment with our pumpkins using baking soda and vinegar. We had a lot of fun!

Gym - This week we practiced dribbling, passing and shooting basketballs.
